Singapore’s most anticipated cultural extravaganza, the Chingay Parade 2025, is set to illuminate the F1 Pit Building on 7 and 8 February 2025. This year’s theme, “JOY“, celebrates Singapore’s 60th birthday through the universal language of food, promising an unforgettable showcase of cultural diversity and national unity.
The parade transforms into a mesmerising culinary wonderland, featuring an unprecedented 23 food-inspired floats. Spectators will witness performers donning creative costumes representing beloved local delicacies, from pau and roti prata to wanton noodles and ondeh-ondeh. This gastronomic celebration reflects Singapore’s rich culinary heritage and its power to unite communities across cultural boundaries.
The grand spectacle brings together more than 4,000 performers from 150 organisations in a stunning display of talent and creativity1. The innovative four-level stage design offers a revolutionary viewing experience, whilst the all-new immersive 360-degree layout brings audiences closer to the action than ever before.
In honour of Singapore’s diamond jubilee, a spectacular performance featuring 60 lion dancers will take centre stage, embodying the nation’s vibrant spirit and energy. This special segment pays tribute to Singapore’s remarkable journey and achievements over the past six decades.

Following the main parade, the festivities continue across Singapore’s heartlands:
The PAssionArts Street, situated at the event entrance, showcases stunning visual art installations co-created by residents and community artists. Visitors can explore the Chingay: Road to UNESCO Exhibits and participate in vibrant performances and art workshops from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on both parade days.
