Singapore’s most anticipated culinary celebration returns for its 32nd edition this September, transforming the island into a gastronomic wonderland. The Singapore Food Festival 2025 runs from 4 to 24 September, bringing together heritage traditions, contemporary creativity and future-focused innovations under the heartwarming theme “Have You Eaten Yet?”
This familiar phrase, commonly heard in Asian households, serves as more than just a question about hunger—it represents care, love and community connection through food. The festival celebrates this cultural tradition whilst showcasing Singapore’s rich multicultural culinary landscape through an extensive programme of dining experiences, cultural activities and innovative showcases.
Three spectacular signature events anchor the Singapore Food Festival 2025, each offering a unique perspective on Singapore’s evolving food identity.
Food is Art transforms culinary artistry into multi-sensory theatre on 5-6 September at Factory @ New Bahru. This groundbreaking event features world-renowned Australian patissier Adriano Zumbo alongside local pastry chef Goh Dah Liang from Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. Under the creative direction of fashion curator Daniel Boey, the evening blends gastronomy with fashion, design and music, featuring story-driven plating, interactive tastings and menus brimming with delightful surprises. The venue itself, a beautifully refurbished former garment factory, creates an industrial-chic backdrop that perfectly complements the artistic fusion of food and creativity.
The Long Table offers a communal dining experience on 12-13 September at the Grand Ballroom of InterContinental Singapore. Presented by IHG Hotels & Resorts as the Heritage Anchor Partner, this celebration of heritage, hospitality and culinary craftsmanship brings together five outstanding chefs from distinguished hotels across Singapore. Each chef contributes a unique course to create a diverse five-course menu that tells the story of Singapore’s rich culinary heritage. The event welcomes over 260 guests per night to share in this unforgettable feast, with Heritage Cuisine Ambassador Chef Damian D’Silva presenting a specially crafted course that highlights traditional flavours and techniques.
Future Food: Menu 2035 presents a bold vision of dining’s future on 19-20 September at SKAI Loft, Swissôtel The Stamford Singapore. Set 72 floors above the city skyline, this immersive experience explores what might be on our plates in ten years’ time. The showcase features Singapore’s most exciting food tech innovators, sustainability startups and visionary chefs presenting lab-grown meats, climate-resilient crops, hyper-personalised nutrition and alternative proteins. Executive Chef Roy Vun Yian Ping and Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong, both award winners at the SCA Culinary Excellence Awards 2025, lead the culinary exploration alongside the innovative Liquid Lab cocktail theatre.
The festival extends beyond fixed venues with the popular Food Truck City Tours, running from 18 August to 14 September across key Singapore locations. These mobile culinary stations bring festival flavours directly to busy areas including Ocean Financial Centre, Keppel South Central, Downtown East @ Pasir Ris, and Geneo at Singapore Science Park.
Featured vendors showcase creative interpretations of local cuisine through innovative dishes. Chefs from IHG hotels present elevated street food including Lasooni Chicken Tikka, Singapore Laksa with Baby Abalone, Tiger Prawn Massaman Curry, and Wagyu Beef Rendang. The Maha Co by rapper-entrepreneur Yung Raja serves signature Dosa Tacos in flavours like Lamb Rendang and Masala Prawn, whilst popular café Hello Arigato offers their Singapore Satay Sando as part of SG60 celebrations, alongside exclusive drinks including Nyonya Pandan Cloud and Matcha Pandan Cloud.
A special Food Truck Park transforms Keppel South Central from 23 August to 3 September, creating an outdoor festival atmosphere where diverse food and beverage talents gather to share their culinary stories. Located at the crossroads of Tanjong Pagar, Chinatown and Everton Park, this convenient location serves both office workers and food enthusiasts seeking unique dining experiences.
Nestled within Dempsey Hill’s lush greenery, Mise en Place @ Dempsey Hill serves as the beating heart of the Singapore Food Festival 2025. Presented by HSBC as the Official Bank Partner, this sophisticated venue operates as a VIP lounge, premium events space, all-day café and festival experience centre throughout the 21-day celebration.
The venue headlines Zumbo Desserts, marking the Asian debut of celebrity patissier Adriano Zumbo. In collaboration with Chef Goh Dah Liang, Zumbo presents a collection of whimsical desserts crafted exclusively for the festival, available only at Mise en Place and Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. Asian smokehouse Blue Smoke, helmed by Chef Ivan Yeo, also brings a curated menu of beloved favourites alongside exclusive dishes created specifically for the festival.
Beyond the signature dining events, the Singapore Food Festival 2025 offers numerous cultural experiences that delve deep into Singapore’s food heritage. “A Taste of Time” at Chinatown Complex provides guided exploration of Singapore’s hawker legacy, celebrating the stories and traditions behind beloved street food culture.
The festival includes over 15 different event variations, encompassing three signature events, three pop-ups, seven unique experiences, a series of SG60 specials, and more than 50 curated experiences by partner establishments. These range from heritage hawker trails and wine workshops to riverside feasts and farm-to-table brunches, each designed to showcase different aspects of Singapore’s evolving culinary landscape.
The Singapore Food Festival 2025 particularly emphasises innovation and sustainability, reflecting Singapore’s position as a leader in food technology and sustainable dining practices. Through Future Food and various partner events, the festival showcases revolutionary techniques, alternative proteins, and sustainable ingredients that are reshaping the culinary future.
Interactive demonstrations feature molecular gastronomy, experimental tastings, and cutting-edge food technology that challenges traditional perceptions of cuisine. The Liquid Lab presents cocktail innovation where mixologists transform drinks into multi-sensory experiences using edible vapour, glow-in-the-dark ingredients, and AI-calibrated pairings.
The festival’s success relies on extensive partnerships with restaurants, bars, and cultural institutions across Singapore. Through the SFF 2025 Affiliate Partner Programme, food and beverage establishments participate by organising special menus, promotions, and unique dining experiences under the festival banner. This collaborative approach ensures the celebration reaches every corner of the island, making it accessible to both locals and visitors.
The Singapore Food Festival 2025 represents more than a culinary celebration—it embodies Singapore’s multicultural identity, innovative spirit, and deep-rooted traditions of hospitality and community. By bringing together heritage keepers, modern innovators, and rising culinary stars, the festival creates an inclusive platform where food serves as a universal language connecting people across cultures, generations, and backgrounds.
Through its diverse programming, from intimate heritage tours to grand-scale signature events, the festival offers something for every palate and interest. Whether you’re passionate about traditional flavours, curious about culinary innovation, or simply seeking memorable dining experiences, the Singapore Food Festival 2025 promises an unforgettable journey through one of the world’s most vibrant food cultures.
