Singapore has more than 16 dedicated padel venues in 2026, according to Padeli and Play! Padel. Court prices run from about $70 to $108 an hour at weekends, according to Miss Lobang’s check of live booking screens on 16 September 2026. Weekday off-peak hours cost less, and a mini court at Play! Padel starts at $30, according to the same guide. Padel is played in doubles, so you split the bill four ways.

This guide covers venues, prices and what to do if you have never held a racquet.

Where Can I Play Padel In Singapore?

Venues are spread across the island. Padeli lists Ricochet Padel, Prime Padel at Dempsey, Padel X at Singapore EXPO and Mandala Racquet Club on Sentosa among the biggest names. It says Prime Padel has seven courts and Padel X has five indoor courts, and that Mandala opened in phases from March 2026.

For air-conditioning, TheSmartLocal says The Sports Arina has Singapore’s first air-conditioned padel courts, with a second location at Jalan Kayu planned for mid-April 2026. Padel X is described by Padeli as the top choice for indoor, air-conditioned play. Pop Padel will host Singapore’s first Asia Challenger Tournament, according to TheSmartLocal, and Padeli says the Singapore National Padel League is the country’s first organised padel competition.

A short answer to “where should a beginner play?” is a club with open play or rentable equipment, such as Ricochet, Prime Padel or Padel X, which Miss Lobang says run open play sessions for players who cannot find three friends.

How Much Does Padel Cost?

Prices change by day and time, so check the booking page for your slot. Here are examples from live booking screens checked on 16 September 2026, according to Miss Lobang.

Is Padel One Of The Singapore Trends Worth Joining?

Yes it is, for three reasons. First, it is social. Play! Padel says the sport is fast, sheltered and doubles-focused, which turns 90-minute sessions into time with friends. Second, it is easy to learn. Third, access is widening. Urban List reports that UBS and Gardens by the Bay opened padel courts on the West Lawn for free public play from 19 September to 11 October 2026, with equipment to rent.

New courts are also coming. The Kallang says the Kallang Wave Mall will be refreshed with a new sheltered rooftop padel ecosystem, with works starting in May 2026 and expected to finish by 2028.

Players are not only expats. Play! Padel says Singaporeans and PMETs make up the majority of players at peak hour in the clubs it describes.

What Should I Know Before I Book?

Book early. Play! Padel says bookings fill up weeks in advance, and weekday evenings and weekend slots vanish fastest. Choose off-peak hours if your schedule allows, because the gap between a weekday afternoon and a Sunday can be $30 or more an hour at some clubs.

Wear court shoes if you have them, bring water and arrive early for the first game. If you do not have a racquet, ask whether the club rents them. At the Gardens by the Bay event, equipment rental was available, according to Urban List.

Here is the blunt limitation. Club counts and prices vary between sources. Padeli and Play! Padel report more than 16 venues, while Miss Lobang counts more than 25 clubs. Prices also change by season and demand, so check each club’s live booking page before you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people play padel at once? Four. Padel is played in doubles, according to Play! Padel, so you need three friends. If you are short, ask about open play sessions.

Can I play padel in the rain? It depends on the court. Play! Padel says courts can be sheltered, and Padel X is fully indoor, so choose a sheltered or indoor venue in the wet season.

Is padel the same as tennis? No. Padel uses walls and is played in doubles, so rallies are different. The walls keep the ball in play, which is why beginners often enjoy it.

Where can I try padel for free? Public events sometimes offer free sessions. The Gardens by the Bay courts ran from 19 September to 11 October 2026, according to Urban List, but that window has now closed, so watch for similar events.
